Sandsend Railway Tunnel near Whitby Sep 08

A re-visit with BIG torch and wellies, this time we went as far as the second side shaft, took a few shots some of which are below and some more on flickr

Me and Tinypixi (the fiance) went in, a bit of lifting and shoving to get her on top of the wall climbing in, climbing back out was far less lady-like
The big torch, http://www.urbexforums.co.uk/showthread.php?t=571 , was good for general light and looking at stuff but I wouldn't really think of it for photography as its a bit too big to twirl around to evenly light paint. An interesting experiment all the same and I'm bound to use it again, shame I didn't take the 5W Fluro too!

This was probably the first real lighting shot with the big torch, I'd have to say that the little LED torches are far easier to get controlled results with:

De ja vu Brilliant pics bud Love the drawings. Hanging mist is a sign of bad air if you didn't catch my reply before it disappeared. Well done with the up vent shot as well, I know how hard they are to get

Luverly stuff mate...I particularly like the fact that you are prepared to be silly with torches...Not on this site, or my other home (urbexforums), but on some other forums the people seem to lack a sense of humour and fun...boring!

I have a silly girlfriend, and it gets kinda contagious, she'll probably say the same about me... I'm just a bit stupid, but its all about the Photography, it is fun after all.

Not sure whats happened somebody lost some posts??? Might be to do with issues with the database??

the water was about a third of the way up the wellies, not too bad.
Though the second side tunnel had water with tick deep mud, that would have filled the wellies!
