Anyone feel the need to be MOD? | Sun Apr 18, 2010 6:14 pm by meanwood_monks | Been thinking about this for a while now.
Some of you guys/gals have been here since day 1. Cheers for all your support over this time.
Was wondering if anyone was wanting to keep an eye on things and have MOD rights here.

| Love that last shot, really good. That would be an excellent place to visit. Seems like a place to keep your eye on. | |

| This place is definitely worth getting into, its closed due to subsidence basically the church's back has been broken. There are also a lot of pauper patients buried in unmarked graves from stanley royd. | |

I had a look at the planning application and they're gonna convert the church itself into 16 poncy apartments, then round the back between the church and the cemetary they're building 5 new homes which involves the relocation of the graves within the church grounds. You can see at the north east side of the building where the subsidence has caused the building to split apart, the gap is already big enough for my hand to fit in. I'd definately be up for getting in to the building. But that steel cladded gate isn't going anywhere. Unless someone breaks in before, i cant see us getting in until the work actually starts. Al | |
