Anyone feel the need to be MOD? | Sun Apr 18, 2010 6:14 pm by meanwood_monks | Been thinking about this for a while now.
Some of you guys/gals have been here since day 1. Cheers for all your support over this time.
Was wondering if anyone was wanting to keep an eye on things and have MOD rights here.

| I know most of the Yorkshire Crew have all visited here before, but for some reason it's taken me a while to see this great complex of 3 mills. There's plenty of history elsewhere on the forum so I'll be lazy and just say these flax mills date from the 1830's to the 1860's and are damn fine if you like your big old industrial beauties. Despite being somewhat bare inside they have an undeniable charm and you can see why they have been earmarked for residential conversion. My tour guide was Mr Rich Boxfrenzy - cheers mate :thumb Hunslet Mill, Grade II listed, closed in 1966 I'm not entirely sure what this mill was called Victoria Mill, or laterly ironmongers R H Bruce & Co Ltd. Lets pop inside Hunslet Mill and have a peek...turn away now if mill porn offends, it's explicit Into the middle mill, used by Sydney.A.Smith, Ladies Skirt and Coat manufacturers And now onward into Victoria Mills...firstly Bruce's old front gates The old administrative areas here provide a good bit of visual change for the explorer... Our Rich Some right tasty, but dying ceiling roses And finally L. Poppleton's old clocking in card Cheers, TC | |

| Nice work you two, those time cards were still where you left them on Saterday. I would of invited you Rich but it was a bit spur of the moment as I had a short notice couple of hours to kill. Did you meet the homeless guy? Not a nice experiance when your on your own, he was hiding but I could see his shoulder behind the wall | |

| Cheers Mex, i think the bit where the homeless guy lives was the one bit we didn't visit - was he in the upstairs bit between Bruces and the clothing place? We didn't go there as the mil porn was making us blind. I feel sad for him, not because he's homeless but because he's bad at hiding. | |
